Once a patient is approved for a spending limit, that approval remains active for a specific window of time, allowing them flexibility in scheduling their procedure.

Validity Window

  • 120 Days: Patient spending limits are valid for 120 days from the date of the initial offer.

What Happens if an Approval Expires?

If the 120-day window passes before the patient accepts a transaction:

  • The approval will expire.

  • The patient can simply re-apply to receive a refreshed offer.

  • Because PatientFi uses a soft credit check, re-applying to refresh an expired offer will not impact the patient's credit score.
