Finding a Patient's Account

You can quickly locate a patient's profile within the portal using several different search criteria.

How to Search

Enter any of the following details into the search bar:

  • Full Name

  • Email Address

  • Phone Number

  • Social Security Number (SSN)

  • Account Number

If you search for a patient who has completed an application but they do not appear in your records, they may have originally applied for PatientFi through a different provider.

How to Proceed

Even if the patient applied elsewhere, you can still process their transaction through your portal:

  1. Click "New Transaction."

  2. Search for the patient using their personal information.

  3. Once located, you can proceed with sending the transaction as usual.

Quick Tip: Creating a Transaction

If the patient does not appear in your initial search but you are ready to process a charge, click "New Transaction." You will have another opportunity to search for or identify the patient within that workflow. This can happen if their original application was completed with another provider, but this should not cause issues in sending an transaction request to them.
